So admittedly Winter and Nelson have never canonically, you know, met, but I reckon if they did it would be great, and I also enjoy the creative freedom of not having to disregard any canon about it. They have similar interests, compatible personalities, and canonical tendencies to Never Tell That Person How They Feel that could add up to enough mutual pining to construct an entire forest. Nelson's undercover work and Winter's danger magnet status both provide plenty of opportunities for whump, hurt/comfort, angst, all of the good stuff. I'm also extremely soppy about them and would love to see them just being happy and in love. 
- Winter and Nelson meet while Nelson is working undercover and cannot be honest about who he is. 
- They are working together on an ~unnecessarily spooky case~.
- Nelson is visiting for reasons entirely unrelated to work and they fall for each other.

Found family is stored in Midsomer, apparently. I have a particular fondness for how completely new sergeants are adopted into the Barnaby family, like Barnaby bringing them to meet Sarah in their first cases as if to get her approval to the sheer amount of time that they seem to spend together, to how restrainedly frantic Barnaby becomes whenever one of them seems to be in trouble.
- Midsomer, given the relative ease with which characters can become isolated, the old-fashioned nature of parts of it, the strangeness of the people and the lacks of barriers between people and the wild, is a place where horror would fit very naturally into the landscape. I'd love to see Barnaby and his sergeant take a wrong turning and end up somewhere Wrong, or someone encounter something while looking for a phone signal, or for there to be strange shapes in the nighttime fog. Just *vague gestures* pop some horror in it.
- I'm very fond of the understated-yet-present affection that exists between Winter and Sarah; something focussed on that would be lovely, maybe them defending each other from dangers or supporting one another through difficulty, maybe he's 100% down with helping her hide a body or taking the fall for her from a murder, anything really.
- Nelson returns to Midsomer after something awful happens to him and the Barnabies try to help him through it.

I only had platonic ships for this show until I was sitting there watching Sebastian complain at length to Loretta about newly-arrived Carter and his fancy suits that fit him perfectly, like he's just got his first queer crush and a) hasn't noticed b) has no idea how to deal with it. Carter, for his part, appearing to be utterly bemused by it all (possibly having noticed both the crush and that Sebastian hasn't noticed it). They're so much fun together in canon, and I'd love to see them being fun together romantically. 
- Fake dating would suit this ship down to the ground and is so possible considering the canon - maybe they're undercover or need to seem like they're not federal agents in a situation that they don't have time to plan, anything's good.
- I think they should get handcuffed together and have to escape villains/solve a case/generally be stuck like that for quite a while.
- Further in the interests of enforcing them being in the same place for an extended period of time, captured together would be great, either by the villains of the week or someone from Carter or Sebastian's past, out for information or revenge etc.

I adore the platonic relationships in this show, particularly between Sebastian and his friends Loretta and Gregorio, and then between the whole field team in the final season - I would have loved to see so much more of them together. They're such solid, natural friendships, with so much trust and dependability built into them, really going for that found family while Pride was finding biological relations under ambient rocks. I'm particularly interested in Carter for the team prompt, with his initial resistance to being part of the team/family being eroded away, but I do love all of these characters.
- Undercover shenanigans! Characters who love each other platonically having to fake date or be each other's fake family, all strengthening the bonds they really have.
- Mutual support in the aftermath of canon traumatic events.
- A case turning out to be spookier than anticipated.

I binged most of Big Finish's new UNIT series last year and really enjoyed it, especially the portrayal of Kate Stewart as a competent and respected leader in her own right, who remembers but is not solely defined by her father, and her relationships with her subordinates. Of those, Sam is a particular favourite and natural whump target since his first appearance head injury.

- It would be great to see Sam affected by what he went through in Cyber-Reality (the capture! the long-term captivity! the time loop simulation, the betrayal, the harvesting of his skills for use in an app released for free (the violation of it!)! the slow cyberconversion! the mind-control!), and maybe Kate making an effort to be there for him as his boss, whether that involves simply being present, making sure that he gets the best care and recovery space possible, working to shut down the app/have it remove the data obtained from Sam's mistreatment, etc.  
- I'm a great enjoyer of horror and it would be well within UNIT's standard operations for them to just be in a horror scenario - maybe they're investigating false lights, or an alleged haunting, or trying to secure a supposedly cursed artefact, anything's good.
- Maybe some kind of situation where UNIT has been taken over by something, and Sam and Kate, unaffected, must flee?

This show has been doing so well at putting its characters in the trauma microwave and refusing to let them out, and I've been especially into this ship after S3. They've both got this tendency to wander into dangerous situations for Knowledge (TM), and I feel like Ryan to some extent imprinted on the brothers and their story as a way to cope with not just the changed world but the loss of his family. Then Elliot saved his life chasing after one of the monsters that previously the only way to survive had been "run away from Immediately" and hit it with a stick for him. On Elliot's side of things, he'd heard the broadcast - Ryan representing hope and safety and a stable point in a world that had fallen down around him. Then, when they meet, Ryan is the one friendly face in the world, probably the first person who's not actively been a danger to Elliot, let alone kind to him, since he lost Roman. When Elliot fights back against the changed world for the first time, it's for Ryan. Ryan thinks the best of him when he's decided he's a monster. Nothing will convince me they weren't holding hands all through the sequence trapped in the dark room. Naturally, I think they should have angst and pining and every kind of wilderness sex from ill-advised to sex pollened to comforting.

- After or during the events of the S3 finale, a bit of comfort is probably in order.
- During their travels through the wilderness, they encounter some form of apocalypse sex pollen.
- Niyah tries to use Elliot to force Ryan to let her control the broadcast.

Victoriocity is a joy to listen to, mystery stories full of humour and friendship and then very occasionally it drops just astronomical amounts of trauma on its characters. Clara and Fleet have this really lovely friendship and I hope they have many murder cases to come. Additionally, we've not had much of her, but I'm quite zoomy over Aurelia Bell's immediate interest in Clara (she wants to show her off!) and would love to see that go somewhere, especially if it means we get more Beth Eyre in the show.

- as director of The London Museum of Other Nations' Antiquities, Aurelia insists that Clara write an article covering one of the Museum's new exhibitions. Which would all be entirely doable, except once she arrives, Aurelia seems far more interested in spending quality time together than in letting Clara have some quiet to write.
- Clara and Fleet investigate a haunting.
- After an injury on a case, Fleet has to go for repairs.

Midsomer canon doesn't really deal with the trauma that its resident detectives presumably have, with only a couple of scant nods, when Nelson blames himself for a death in his first case and Winter looking to Barnaby for reassurance the first time one of their murderers dies. Luckily, there's plenty of room for non-canon traumatic experiences. Plenty could have happened to Nelson in the years since he left Midsomer, there's a lot of space between cases where things might go wrong in Midsomer, and perhaps he and Winter might have had similar traumatic experiences in London prior to their posting to Midsomer. Maybe they meet for the first time in what'll turn out to be traumatic circumstances, maybe they have a traumatic past, maybe they have a very lovely history that's about to go sour. I ship them like anything and I'd like them to bleed about it.

- Winter and Nelson discover that, pre-Midsomer, they were both coerced into sex by the same abusive senior officer in London. 
- While working a case, Winter is caught up in some of the more violent pursuits of Midsomer's residents.
- Nelson returns to Midsomer after a long time away after a case goes bad, and Winter does his best to help.

The platonic side of things in Midsomer, where I have a lot of found family feelings. I love the Barnaby extended family, and the relationships between Fleur & Winter and Kate & Nelson. Mostly looking for whump and hurt/comfort - I would like to know how bad things need to get before John Barnaby will hug his sergeant, I like hurt sergeants automatically living with the Barnabys for a bit, and I'd love their respective pathologists looking out for them.  

- On a case with Winter, Barnaby receives bad news - Nelson is missing, presumed dead. A while later, he's found again, alive but deeply traumatised.  
- A case brings up bad memories for Winter of previous abuse.
- Urban fantasy AU again where Nelson's leaving Midsomer is as a result not of an undercover course, but an attack that results in his developing lycanthropy.

At this point I think Benji is at least 90% comprised of trauma, and Ethan of scar tissue where trauma used to be. Would be happy with something dealing with events that have already happened, or something adding new trauma. There's plenty of potential in in-universe concepts like the masks and the syndicate that could be used to more personal effect, and it'd be lovely to have something that forces acknowledgement of the trauma that felt like it was missing a little from the end of Fallout.

- After Fallout, Benji does his best to avoid Ethan, to try to stop him seeing the bruises from Solomon Lane's noose before they heal. 
- Benji is taken, and when Ethan finds him he's been brainwashed into becoming an enemy. 
- Benji is attacked to hurt Ethan, and there's an impact on them both.

Until such a time as Dead Reckoning Part 2 comes out and disabuses me of the notion, I am choosing to believe that these two are off to the same place at the end of Part 1, both having neatly speedrun some trauma assault courses. Grace dealing with how suddenly the world seemed to turn on her and how her life will never be the same, and that the only reason she has a life is because Ilsa lost hers. Paris forced into a situation not even because of anything she did, just because some stupid damn AI decided it was probably she'd betray it and betrayed her first. I think they should Bond.

- Paris' recovery from her stab wound is slow and not aided by the interrogations of too many agents that she doesn't know, and she decides she'll only talk to Grace. 
- Grace finds the IMF less trustworthy than she'd anticipated, and decides to break Paris out so they can find their own way together.
- Grace and Paris end up making the choice to join the IMF together, and train together while still dealing with the emotional fallout of DR1, as Grace struggles with Ilsa's death and Paris with Gabriel's betrayal.

Perhaps the least canonically traumatised people in this sign-up (the crimes in Midsomer are just Worse). Sebastian's had his moments, but the show did only have a season and a half to traumatise Carter. Maybe he's had some trauma prior to New Orleans that might raise its ugly head? He does also seem fairly talented at making new enemies, and he can always borrow some of Pride's if he needs to. Sebastian even has a handful of enemies of his own, my favourite probably being the ones who kidnap him in S3 and start him down the path to becoming an agent.

Ahhh Judith and Owen, speedrunning to trauma rock bottom in three seasons. Between bleeding out, possession and hallucinations of murderous loved ones, the show takes every available opportunity to make things worse for them and I admire that in a canon.  I'm also very fond of their friendship, so would be into something that emphasises that element while also being traumatising.

- After Claire's death, Judith and Owen struggle with being apart in the aftermath of their shared trauma, though each remains unwilling to approach the other.
- The cult likes to mess with them, and lets them hear recordings/live calls of the other being attacked, which they have no way of knowing if are real or not until they can go round there.
- Again in the post-Claire isolation period, Owen looks for comfort in all the wrong places (Bird! perhaps having developed an unsightly and unhealthy crush!) and Judith mourns not just Claire but her friendship with him.

What with the world ending, wasn't sure how these two could sleep even prior to S3, and now Elliot's brother is a rift and he's been tortured in captivity for months on end, Ryan's safe place was torn apart at the seams the second he left it and he got mind controlled. But they also seem to find in each other something of an ability to cope, whether that's Ryan seeming to fixate on the brothers (and Elliot in particular) to maybe hide from the loss of his family, or Elliot finding the courage to fight back against the world again only once a monster tries to take Ryan (probably the only person who's not been an active danger to him that he's met since he lost Roman). They should maybe hug.

- Another group of survivors tries to obtain control of Ryan's broadcast by using Elliot to make him do what they want.
- One of the monsters that they encounter on their journey does sex pollen! 
- After meeting up with Ryan, Elliot finds it a difficult adjustment peroid actually being with someone again, after All the Trauma - Ryan picks up on it and does his best to comfort him.

Poor Kent and poor Chandler. Four seasons of baggage between them and still trying to tend that fragile little relationship they have like the first snowdrop in January, except their spring and summer never seem to come. Please make it worse. :D 

- Post-S4, Kent and Chandler are abducted together, perhaps by someone with a grudge, perhaps by some very out-of-their-depth criminals who haven't quite decided whether they want to escalate things to killing police officers.  
- Kent is assaulted by someone attempting to hurt Chandler - perhaps continued fallout from S2 and the attempts to catch corrupt officers that didn't quite manage to prove a case against them all, or someone who cared for one of Chandler's dead murderers.
- Kent and Chandler do eventually manage to go for that drink after all, only for things to go drastically wrong at the venue.

Or, perhaps, there's some kind of massive traumatic event that involves all of them, and they struggle to deal with it while also needing each other. I'm very into found family and shared trauma for this one.

Mostly interested in found family and OT3 stuff for this, with a side of Jaskier suffering and possibly everyone else also suffering, especially as a result of Jaskier suffering. Awful times to be had by all! The new season (or at least the first bit, I'm not caught up) was great for the found family aspect, and I especially enjoyed the scenes with Jaskier and Ciri, such as him singing her to sleep, as well as the larger family aspects, and then my OT3 feelings left over from S2 especially, with the way that Yennefer and Jaskier's relationship developed. 

- Jaskier and Ciri are taken and he is used to force her into using her abilities/otherwise doing the will of their captors (in case of it being one of the many and varied people who seems to want to marry her, I'd prefer if they could both be rescued before ceremonies/consumations). 
- Jaskier is taken to force Geralt and/or Yennefer to do the will of his captor, whether that's a monster that they didn't want to slay, assassination, fighting, etc.
- A vindictive enemy doesn't actually want anything from them except for them to hurt.

Azu, Hamid Saleh Haroun al-Tahan & Sasha Racket

Happy with any romantic or platonic combination of these - especially Azu/Hamid/Sasha as an OT3. I just. I have really loved the extent and depth to which Azu and Hamid care about each other in the podcast as of late, the way that whenever anything happens, they always seem to look for each other first. Sasha meant so much to both of them and her to them and there is so much distance and longing in their relationship.

- Hamid & Azu, after the end of the world, finally have a moment to talk things over and decide where they want to go from there.

Would prefer Tjelvar and Carter's relationship remained platonic, am perfectly happy to have Ed/Tjelvar included.

This request is mostly about Tim suffering emotionally because Martin has suffered physically (and probably also emotionally) and it is All His Fault.

- Maybe Tim or Martin gets affected by a cursed item that results in Tim being aggressive or Martin needing to be fucked, accidentally or intentionally, maybe someone simply wants to torture them and is ready to threaten them into a fuck or die sort of scenario. I like Tim, if he's in control of his actions, doing his best to soften the blow but still having all of the messy emotions, no matter how much Martin might try to reassure him.
- Danny does his best to make Tim happy, and Danny is pretty sure that what would make Tim happy would be Martin. If Tim's not keen, that's okay, he's not always been the best at taking his chances for happiness, Danny is ever so happy to help. Or possibly Danny is out for revenge and wants to make sure Tim will never be happy. Anything works.
- There is a lot of confusion present in the Spiral's corridors - maybe Tim thinks that Martin consents, or thinks it's not Martin, or doesn't even know what drove him, remembers none of it. They're still trapped and they still need each other.
- Martin meets Danny as a hot, friendly guy on a night out, while Danny tries to seduce him with the intention of either getting closer to Tim, or ruining things for him. Maybe it works, maybe Danny has to take a more direct route, Tim suffers.
- I'm very interested in Tim getting a call from Martin's phone, answering it, and hearing a voice at the other end that is Not Martin's - maybe Danny, maybe an ex, just something that he will immediately know is very bad.
- I do think these two deserve little a sex pollen and/or cursed item that would have the same result, as a treat, whether it leads to a revelation of requited affection or mutual pining getting bonuses from guilt and even firmer "well he'll never want me now", however it comes out.

Mostly just physical and emotional suffering on its own merits here.

- I'd very much enjoy aggressor!Jon, maybe in terms of him being sex-pollened or something but also as someone who could go full monster. I'd love to see him hurt Tim and Martin because they are his to hurt - for the sake of belonging and possession and power, with sex as an expression of that rather than existing for its own sake. Maybe monster Jon manipulating them into staying with him (not that they actually could leave if they tried but they shouldn't try), just slowly breaking them down and making them his, curating their minds when they try to get other ideas. Perhaps he thinks it's for their own good, perhaps he knows otherwise, perhaps he doesn't care to dwell on it.
- Revenge of the statement givers! after what the Institute does to them I'd like to read about one of them deciding to hit back, going after Tim and Martin when they don't find Jon, or perhaps laying a trap that they happen to fall into.
- I love Martin and Tim and the Vast. Simon's interactions with Martin have been a joy to listen to, and I'd like to see his intentions to seduce Martin go a little further and a little harder, whether that's trying to convince him to be happy in a new world, or offering his protection for a price in the old one. I'm curious as to how he'd interact with Tim, and would love to see some of that - could be set before the end of S3 or in an AU where Tim didn't die, or perhaps Simon could somehow bring him back in some sort of effort to please Martin. Maybe he's able to convince them into the Vast, maybe he isn't and forces it, or keeps them un-Vasted - I am pretty sure I would enjoy any interaction between the characters listed.
- It would be interesting to see how Martin would react to being targeted outside the scope of his work with the Institute, by a random stranger or someone from his own or one of the others' past.
- I'd like to see some more monster!Tim, back for revenge or to act on feelings that he didn't previously or a bit to spite Jon - I can never quite decide if he should be violent towards Martin or treat him more gently than anyone ever has, so either/both is good. I would prefer that real romantic feelings existed between the two of them at some point, if possible.
- Salesa seemed to quite like Martin - maybe he decides he's due something for letting them stay, or thinks Martin's interested. Very interested in Martin being assaulted while Jon is right there and kind of phasing in and out of awareness without ever managing to get enough of himself together to help, and Martin trying to hide it from him afterwards.

- Sam just seemed to have this weird level of chill after talking to the Entity by himself off-screen, and I'd like to see what happened there on-screen.
- Marcus Wilde's efforts at manipulation made me want to yeet him out of an airlock and I would love to see more of them, especially being led on by the Entity. Maybe he manipulates Sam into xcon or just goes for it and puts a spin on the emotional stuff afterwards.
- Marcus Wilde's interactions with the Entity were also great and I can see its manipulations going more into the sexual side of things, especially in Laura Mentorn's form, given how in cold, remote and in-control she is as a person.

- I really enjoy the idea of monster!Danny being completely obsessed with Tim. Maybe romantically, maybe sexually, maybe he just wants his brother back, maybe he wants to hurt him. Perhaps he sees Martin as a route or barrier to that. I can see him fucking Martin because he wants to fuck Tim and fucking something Tim's also fucked is the closest he can get, or crashing some consensual sex that Tim and Martin were already having (though I'd prefer if he didn't fuck Tim directly, due to an incest squick that "they both fuck Martin at the same time" is apparently a loophole in). Maybe he just wants to be closer with Tim and feels it's a bonding activity, or that it's helping Tim if he just makes him take Martin, who he wants, and he'll thank Danny in the long run? Or maybe Martin is just a fun route to revenge for a perceived injustice.
- Tim being forced to rape Martin by anyone is also good - I ship them like anything, and there are just so many myriad ways to break them. Could be an artefact, a monster, just something to give him a whole lot of guilt about, especially if he thinks that he only went for Martin in particular because he loves him and it's thus his fault.
- Jon's desperation to help Martin feels like it could be twisted back on Martin very easily. I'd like to read Jon "rescuing" Martin from the Lonely (and the Beholding) by raping him and gouging his eyes out.
- Tim and Martin are attempting to follow-up on one of the statements together, when they're attacked by someone seeking revenge on the Institute for not helping them, or for ending up in the Archivist's nightmare zoo.
- Maybe Elias, in an effort to engage Tim a bit more during S2 or S3, purposely exposes Martin to a cursed artefact that will require someone to have sex with him (and doesn't Tim think Martin would rather it was him than Elias?)

- Eobard Thawne chose to keep Ray close in his Doomworld, and Ray appears to be very afraid of him, flinching when Thawne touches him. Perhaps Thawne spent some time in Doomworld enjoying torturing Ray.
- I'd also enjoy seeing Thawne trying to break Ray down outside of Doomworld, treating him as a prize stolen from the other Legends.
- The Legends are looking to retrieve an artefact that's causing some troubles in the timeline, but once they get there, it has an extreme impact on Constantine.
- Constantine is forced to assault Ray in order to save him from a worse fate, possibly death or gang rape, by a group of sadistic foes who have captured them. Possibly they want Constantine to break Ray's faith in him, a goal which Constantine may actually not be all that opposed to, given the parallels between Ray and Des.
- Something goes wrong during one of Constantine's efforts at magic, and he's possessed by a demon, who proceeds to act on some of Constantine's darker fantasies.

Edward Keystone, Tjelvar Stornsnasson, Howard Carter

I really, really love Edward and Tjelvar, preferably romantically but I am very much down for platonic stuff for them as well. I'd like more of them working together (feel free to just completely handwave why they might be working together), chance meetings post-Tomb, pretty much anything with these two is Good. I've also become rather invested in the idea of Carter and Tjelvar having an academic nemesis kind of thing going on.

- Tjelvar and Carter have never met, but they have exchanged either a number of letters or a number of increasingly combative papers published in the archaeology journals.
- The dig they're on is attacked.
- I'd like to see Edward and Tjelvar being protective/defensive of one another - be this in situations where they're in actual physical danger, or for less immediately hazardous reasons, like, Real Archaeologists are being disparaging about Tjelvar searching for mythical things, Edward's family is awful and that's part of why he's estranged, or one's colleagues/church disapproves of the other.
- Huddling for Warmth.
- They end up in the same holding cell.

Martin Blackwood, Tim Stoker

Tim and Martin are my OTP for TMA - again, I'd like something romantic but am perfectly happy with platonic stuff too. I've loved their relationship in canon since Hide & Seek, and even more recently in canon I've been enjoying the way that Martin will very firmly not allow monsters to talk about Tim. I also love Jon/Martin/Tim, if you'd like to include Jon.

- Tim and Martin put up Christmas decorations together.
- Something which isn't quite Danny Stoker turns up at the Institute, looking for his brother.
- Tim and Martin are attacked trying to follow up on a statement.
- Jon and Tim have to work together to rescue Martin from something.

The Magnus Archives

There are very few elements of this canon that I don't like - the worldbuilding is excellent, there's a lot of mystery to wrap string round - but I'm most interested in fic focussing on the characters, including the monsters. I love all the characters I've requested, but the ones that I prefer to be suffering physically in the requested relationships are Martin and Daisy.

Fandom-specific DNW: Jon/Elias and Elias/Peter - I don't mind Elias being obsessed with Jon or Peter and Elias being monsters in the same place, but the romantic ships are not my bag.

Martin Blackwood/Tim Stoker - these two are my current OTP for this fandom, and it's all Hide & Seek's fault: Martin actually being pushed into being honest about something, Tim going into a place he hated so specifically Martin wouldn't be there alone, getting to have my headcanon that they were towing each other around pretty much the whole time, them being stuck together for weeks, etc. Among other things, I am also particularly partial to monster!AUs for this one (particularly Desolation!Tim, but I'd be very happy with any monster!AU). Tim coming back or stuff set before his death, it's all good.

- Martin and Tim follow up on a statement, but there are some complications, maybe they're attacked by something or someone unrelated, maybe the offer to talk from whoever they were going to meet was a trap.
- Exactly what happened in the corridors?
- Danny. I love Tim and Martin getting caught up in some horrible thing with the monster that used to be Danny, whether because he sees Martin as competition for Tim's affections, something to be removed before he can join him, an opportunity for vengeance, a gift to be given or a plaything. I don't mind Tim/Danny, but I would prefer if it's unrequited from Tim's side.
- Tim comes back, after the Unknowing, but he's not the same - maybe Martin pretends he can't see it. Maybe this new Tim wants Martin with him, or maybe he just wants to hurt him, or both.
- Martin loses his memory.

Martin Blackwood/Jonathan Sims/Tim Stoker - my favourite way of having this dynamic is probably the true OT3 one, where all the parties involved have some romantic attachment to all the other ones, but I do also enjoy "Tim loves Martin, Martin loves Jon, Jon has no idea but would really like a nap", "Tim and Martin are dating and Jon's suddenly afflicted with Feelings on the matter", and "Jon and Tim stressed because they think Martin favours the other more, Martin stressed because they don't like each other". There do seem to be strong emotional connections between the three of them, in whichever direction, and as all that each of them can remember about the original Archives team, there's a lot of history there. The romantic relationship has clear difficulties, of course, especially the more monster Jon gets.

- Elias decides to do something to bring Tim and Jon back in line, or another monster tries to hurt the Archivist.
- Jon, Tim and Martin take some of Gertrude's old statements and attempt to flee the Institute, or are searching for something.
- An incident in Artefact Storage connects the three of them.
- Jon and Tim have to work together for Martin's sake/safety.
- Monsters - maybe one of them goes too far, or all three, same Powers, different Powers, just one or more horrifying and twisted/fluffy monster boyfriends.

Melanie King/Alice "Daisy" Tonner - I've been shipping these two ever since Daisy got out of the coffin. They seem to be on these parallel "be less monster" tracks, and I love the little implications we get that they're spending time together. I did like Mel, but I'm also pleased that Melanie felt comfortable enough with Daisy to say that. Both of them seem to be trying to recover, and I feel like they could do parts of that together. There's also a lot of potential for everything to go wrong. I also wouldn't mind something with Hunt!Daisy or Melanie going Slaughter.

- Melanie finds her way back to the Slaughter after the bullet's removal, and she wants Daisy to fall with her, or vice versa.
- Time loops! The Archives are repeating the same day or few hours, and Daisy and Melanie are the only ones aware of it. I'm interested in any sort of time loop, but have a particular affection for those that degrade over time.
- They try to keep each other human.

Rusty Quill Gaming

This podcast is a bright spot in my week. The world is incredibly well-constructed, the characters are diverse and engaging, and the plot lately has just been Something Else. It's also just plummeted everyone into some pretty deep suffering, and I'm happy for that to be engaged with, or for anything pre- or post- the LOLOMG's trip to Rome.

Fandom-specific DNW: porn - I haven't yet got to the point of reading smut with the RQG characters, so I'd prefer if any scenes involving sex could be faded-to-black.

Edward Keystone/Tjelvar Stornsnasson - this pairing was first suggested to me as "think how much it would annoy Bertie", which is great except I've fallen into an appreciating-it-on-its-own-merits hole, and I'm not coming out. I love these two so much - I love Edward's fussing over Tjelvar's minimal cold damage when he himself was like 20 hit points down and leaving a blood trail, I love him healing the snow leopard, I love him thinking he's seen some evil and going charging into Rome and he ate a frog, Hamid. I love Tjelvar's excitement when they get into Hannibal's tomb, I love how he handles Bertie, I love his hat and his enormous rucksack and the way he loses all his eloquence when trying to get Edward to not wander off. I'd love to see them working together again, whether by choice or not, and I don't mind if how they reach that point is completely handwaved. They've also got a lot of suffering potential, what with Tjelvar's job and Edward's apparent family issues.

- Some kind of relic hunt/archaeology expedition - maybe something Tjelvar chooses or is forced into, maybe meeting up with Edward along the way or already having an association. Available threats including nature, traps, betrayal from or competition with other parties involved, or maybe they end up in some kind of cursed location and are afflicted by some magic or other.
- With the world trying to put itself back together again, Edward and Tjelvar end up trying to keep one another alive in post-apocalyptic scenario.
- They end up in the same cell.

Azu/Sasha Rackett - these two were having some really sweet moments right up until canon Did That. There've been some very awkward indications from Sasha that she thinks Azu's important, and some from Azu that Sasha is, and an element of protectiveness that I like. Despite their differences, they seemed to have a whole mutual respect thingy going on and it was great. Also they just have so much baggage.

- Hamid and Azu try to find Sasha and Grizzop and get them back.
- Azu and Sasha (and possibly the rest of the party) and up in Other London, maybe due to blackmail or under orders from Wilde or otherwise unfinished business.
- Azu and Sasha are somehow separated from the rest of the party, by an attack or nature or something, and try to survive together and find the others.

DC's Arrowverse

I've fallen out of the Arrowverse a bit lately - not to be down on the show in the very place where I'm requesting fic about it, but I've not enjoyed Legends of Tomorrow's current tendency towards prioritising "humour" over plot and character, and I prefer the less ridiculous but still occasionally fun tone that S1 and S2 had. But then there were some darker elements again at the end of S4, with actual character beats, and those I loved. For this I'd like something that fits with that sort of stuff again, as I have missed it in canon.

Believing Others Consider Them An Inferior Substitute for Someone Else, Comes Back Wrong, Curses, Dreamsharing, Enduring Pain to Protect Another, Evil Sentient Spaceship, Folklore & Urban Legends, forced to hurt someone in order to protect them from something worse, forced to watch love interest getting tortured/raped, Haunted Houses, Hostage Situations, Hurting a Character for the Effects on Another Character, Kidnapping, Losing Control over Powers, Marking & Scarring, People Suddenly Start Mysteriously Disappearing, Possession, Time Loop, Tormented by Visions, Wilderness Survival.

Fandom-specific DNW: prominent Nate Heywood - I don't mind Nate appearing, but personally do not enjoy his character so would prefer he didn't take centre stage.

John Constantine/Ray Palmer - there seemed to be a lot of parallels going on between Ray and Des in S4, which came across a lot in how Constantine talked about them, for example, telling Ray he'd known someone like him. I really enjoyed Constantine going into hell for Ray, for all that I'd have preferred Ray's section of it was a little more hellish. They both suffer excellently, and I feel they'd suffer very well over each other.

- Constantine and Ray are stranded away from the rest of the team, either in time or in nature.
- They end up in a violent and supernatural location, or otherwise have to deal with some sort of horror scenario.
- They are abducted, possibly to force them to do something, in the aftermath of Ray's possession by Neron or earlier in S4.

Rip Hunter/Ray Palmer - Ray and Rip both stated LoT having lost a spouse, and though we don't really get a lot of their relationship in canon, that moment they did have where Rip confided about trying to save Miranda and Jonas was great. Rip seems to have a lot of respect for Ray, and there's potential for a lot of angst and violence with Legion!Rip. Ray cares a lot, and has just been through his own possession issue. I wouldn't mind Rip being brought back, or never having died, or stuff set before the end of S3, it's all good.

- Rip comes back, but he's no longer quite like he was, perhaps some sort of effect of the resurrection.
- They're trapped on another time master's ship, trying to fight against an AI that wants to kill them.
- There's an implication that when Rip took the original Legends, he did so shortly before they would have died, and I'd love to see this explored.

Whitechapel

Still bitter. I would loved to have seen where this series was going to go next - I enjoyed it immensely as the more detective-y show it was to start with, and as the more horror-y thing that it became. If you also like the horror angle, I'd love to see the team dealing with a few more definitively supernatural things, I do appreciate a good monster. Otherwise, I'm very happy with the team just investigating things or being angsty or dealing with the usual detective show suffering tropes.

Abuse of Loyalty, Blackmail, Character Discovers They Aren't As Human As They Thought They Were, Curses, Eerily pristine abandoned places, Folklore & Urban Legends, Forced to hurt someone in order to protect them from something worse, Forced to watch love interest getting tortured/raped, Ghosts, Haunted Houses, Hostage Situations, Hurting a Character for the Effects on Another Character, Imprisonment, Kidnapping, Manipulation, Marking & Scarring, One of Us is a Killer, Possessive Behavior, Tormented By Visions, Torture.

Emerson Kent & Finlay Mansell - these two are a bit of an odd pairing, but there were touches of real friendship there at times, and it looked like it was starting to improve again at the end of S4. I think they do genuinely care about each other, and I'd love to see that coming out again after the difficult times at the end of canon.

- Kent and Mansell investigate a case together and it all goes wrong, somehow - maybe kidnapping or it turns out they're alone with the killer.
- They're trapped together, perhaps kidnapped or just locked in somewhere to stop them from pursuing a suspect.
- Mansell was clearly very shaken by the Mantus house, and I'd like to see the two of them forced into a similar scenario without such an easy way out.

Joseph Chandler/Emerson Kent - Kent and Chandler come with a whole lot of fun guilt, angst and pining, since Chandler blaming himself for what happened to Kent in S2 to the whole mess with Morgan. I loved the way that they seemed to be settling a bit at the end of S4 - the don't give up hope scene is one of my favourites in the while series. They also suffer excellently.

- I'd like to see the team investigating a bit more of a supernatural case, to see if Chandler would still maintain scepticism after S4 or if he'd remain stubborn.
- Chandler sticks his nose in where it isn't wanted, and Kent pays the price, maybe used as leverage or revenge.
- One of them starts to be affected by something in the cases or their behaviour, which leads them to slowly become a monster.

Stellar Firma

Stellar Firma's first season has been excellent - the improvised elements are hilarious, and I'm intrigued by the overarching plot. I can't wait to see where it goes, and the interplay between the characters is so much fun.

David 7 & Trexel Geistman - Trexel and David 7 have been a joy to listen to, and the later episodes, with Trexel turning out to actually care while David 7 just quietly does both of their jobs behind his back has been an excellent dynamic. I'd love something developing a little more along those lines.

- Trexel and David 7 end up stranded on one of the planets they built, possibly on one of Hartro's field trips, maybe as the result of being kidnapped by a dissatisfied customer, maybe fluke or accident. There is probably more potential for things to be awful on a planet Trexel had a hand in building (maybe something he did with one of the other Davids?.
- I'd like to see David 7 and Trexel trying to deal with some sort of supernatural or at the very least creepy event on board the space station. I feel like Trexel would be utterly useless in a horror scenario, and David 7 would either be brilliant at it or also useless.
- Time loops again! Whether it's David 7 having to go through the same planet design session, Trexel repeating his day, or both of them aware of it together, I'd love to see them trying to deal with a time loop. I'm interested in any sort of time loop, but have a particular affection for those that degrade over time.

I really, really love these two, preferably romantically but I am very much down for platonic stuff for them as well. I'd like more of them working together (feel free to just completely handwave why they might be working together), chance meetings post-Tomb, pretty much anything with these two is Good.

- Traps! We've seen some very fiendish traps in canon thus far, and I'd like to read about one or both of them falling afoul of either these traps or other traps, given that Indiana Jones-style tombs seem to be absolutely littered with them.
- It'd be nice to see the results of them being the discoverers of Hannibal's tomb - do they get invited to fancy dinners or conferences? are they bothered by journalists? commissioned to search for more semi-mythical artefacts?
- Bandits!
- I'd like to see them being protective/defensive of one another - be this in situations where they're in actual physical danger, or because, I don't know, Real Archaeologists are being disparaging about Tjelvar searching for mythical things, Edward's family is awful and that's part of why he's estranged, one's colleagues/church disapproves of the other.
- Huddling For Warmth.

Grizzop drik Acht Amsterdam & Sasha Rackett

I would prefer to have platonic stuff for Sasha and Grizzop - I've really been enjoying their relationship in canon, especially Grizzop's very adamant caring and Sasha's not admitting things.

- Shows of affection, drunken or otherwise - Grizzop's "Sasha!" bounce-hug is one of my favourite moments.
- Sasha teaching Grizzop knife tricks.
- Grizzop talking more to Sasha about the church - his attempt to recruit her was so sweet and so awkward, and I would love to hear more about the Artemis church anyway.
- Doing (morally justifiable) crime or crime-adjacent things together.
- Again, defensiveness - maybe someone has a bit of an attitude about goblins, or is otherwise rude.

Howard Carter & Tjelvar Stornsnasson

These two have never met in canon but if they did. I really like the small bits of archaeology that we've seen in RQG, and I'd be really interested to see how Carter and Tjelvar would interact, especially given how smoothly Tjelvar dealt with Bertie, who was also pretty awful. (If you would like to include Edward I am very down with that, but I'd prefer the focus be on Tjelvar and Carter's interactions.)

- They somehow end up on a dig together.
- They meet at a conference.
- They have never met, but they have exchanged either a number of letters, or a number of increasingly combative papers published in the archaeology journals.
- Carter's giving a lecture, and Tjelvar has been saving Some Opinions for the Q&As.
- They end up in the same cell.

Azu & Grizzop drik Acht Amsterdam & Hamid Saleh Haroun al-Tahan & Sasha Rackett

I love this whole found family thing the LOLOMG have going on, so, ah, more of that? I'd request a nice, relaxing spa weekend but I think that might be the fastest way to get Grizzop to side-quest...

- The party gets a calm evening on the way somewhere, camping out under the stars and swapping stories over the fire.
- Sasha rescues the rest of the party from something - there was a lot of the party saving Sasha with the whole Heart of Aphrodite arc, and I'd love to see some more of it going the other way, especially if it's a situation where it would be far easier/more rewarding for her to leave them, because that gives me squishy feels.
- Hamid casts Fly on the party, fun ensues.
- The party adopts some sort of monstrous creature as a pet, or are adopted by it.
- Dragons like to hoard (and lie on/amongst) the things they value most - Hamid loves his mercenary group.

Azu & Grizzop drik Acht Amsterdam & Edward Keystone

Paladins! I'd really like to more of the differences and similarities between their churches etc, in any combination. I'd also love to see Edward (with an optional Tjelvar as with the Carter&Tjelvar prompt, I'm trash) meet the party in general, so feel free to include the entire LOLOMG if you want to, I am just particularly interested in the paladin interactions.

- The LOLOMG encounter Edward, on their way out of Rome, and just after he's fulfilled his pilgrimage to see the damage evil can do.
- Grizzop, as a goblin and a paladin of Artemis, values speed and efficiency - Edward is neither of these things.
- Edward meets Azu and is very impressed by Topaz T Camel.
- Grizzop and Azu have different approaches to things, but maybe they need to work together on something thorny to rescue Sasha and Hamid?
- The LOLOMG are asked to investigate an old ruin, possibly subterranean, and Edward is already there - he heard there might be evil.
