Rusty Quill Gaming

Edward Keystone & Tjelvar Stornsnasson

I really, really love these two, preferably romantically but I am very much down for platonic stuff for them as well. I'd like more of them working together (feel free to just completely handwave why they might be working together if you would prefer), chance meetings post-Tomb, pretty much anything with these two is Good.

- Edward is sent to arrest Tjelvar.
- They sit together at a campfire and tell each other stories to pass the night.
- I'd like to see them being protective/defensive of one another - be this in situations where they're in actual physical danger, or because, I don't know, Real Archaeologists are being disparaging about Tjelvar searching for mythical things, Edward's family is awful and that's part of why he's estranged, that kind of thing.
- Edward likes to befriend all the stray animals on the dig site.
- They meet again as the world tries to put itself back together.

Celiquillithon "Cel" Sidebottom & Commander James Barnes

These two have had some really lovely moments recently and I am deeply invested in the idea of them quietly building a boat together, or getting really drunk and looking at the stars together. I ship them like anything, so would prefer something romantic but also platonic would still be lovely.

- Barnes assists Cel in their workshop.
- Of all the boats in all the sea that could have been hi-jacked, it ended up being theirs.
- Life on the channel is fairly quiet, but there are always storms.
- Building a boat is not an easy operation, and they have to collect a lot of supplies.
- They get really drunk and look at the stars together.

Tjelvar Stornsnasson & Howard Carter

These two have never met in canon, but I have accidentally become very invested in the idea of them being kind of academic nemeses. As in, writing furious papers in the journals at each other in increasingly petty rebuttals of each other's theories, "he stole my research", "what do you mean you invited Carter?", "still chasing fairy tales, eh, Tjelvar?" levels of stuff. Would prefer Tjelvar and Carter's relationship remained platonic, am perfectly happy to have Ed/Tjelvar included.

- They wake up in the same cell.
- They are hired by opposing organisations to recover the same artefact.
- It is 3am but Tjelvar Stornsnasson will not be coming to bed quite yet, he has a paper to write and Carter is Wrong again.
- They're speaking at the same conference, and regrets will be had by the organising body.
- They are assigned to the same excavation.

The Magnus Archives

Martin Blackwood & Tim Stoker

These two have been my OTP for this fandom since Hide & Seek - Martin actually being pushed into being honest about something, Tim going into a place he hated so specifically Martin wouldn't be there alone - so I'd prefer something romantic if possible. I just love how they are with each other (Tim seems to care so much about Martin, Martin was comfortable enough with Tim to tell him about his CV) and I feel like they could have been happy together were it not for all the vast unhappiness that the TMA world piled on them. Also they angst together wonderfully.

- The corridors! We still don't have the exact details of what went down in there but I am going to assume there was a fair amount of hand-holding.
- Tim and Jon have to work together to rescue Martin from something.
- Tim and Martin decorate the Archives.
- After the end of the world, Tim comes back. He's not the same, but maybe that stands to reason, and maybe Martin just doesn't want to see it. Maybe he's close enough. Maybe he isn't.
- After Archives dog is adopted, Tim helps Martin mourn what could have been.
